My spring clean up

Heres a few pics of my 2009 Ralliart after a harsh winter, ive cleaned her up by removing the emblems, painting the nose ring and window trim. I also went ahead and tinted the headlights, tail lights and corner markers. Also replaced the rear bumper reflector with carbon fiber insert. Over the winter i did the evo X turbo swap, battery relocation, full 3" custom exhaust. I choose AMS for my intake and tune.

What do you have on your headlights? Is that Nightshade, Laminex(Tint), Laminex(Gunsmoke), or custom tint?

@Secondchace...yeah after i did the turbo swap i noticed after 7000 miles my stock intake and turbo was full of blow-by and oil, so i choose a Mishimoto carbon catch can. And at any time i can remove the tint and still have the good looks of OEM

@Laza, No my car is not legal for street use at all, New Jersey besides cali is the worst for automobile restrictions. Ive got No CAT, No front plate, tinted front windsheild, loud as hell..oh yeah did i mention its my daily driver and i only have harsh state police and no local cops? lol

@ Awilli1715K Im not sure where the Vortext Generators came from cause my boy hooked me up with them, same for the carbon inserts in the rear bumbers, dont know who makes or what web site

@Velocityhead. I had bought the headlight armor brand but my tint dude talked me outta it cause hes the pro, i let him do it with lummar 35% window tint both front and back.

Looking good mate.

Can I ask why you went for battery relocation as opposed to the AMS small battery kit? Do you have any issues with startup? I used to have a battery in the boot of a previous car and had drama's with it. I know the Evo comes like that from factory but not sure if there are any differences with the ignition to counteract any problems with voltage and current drop.

Also Rexspeed makes the vortex generators and CF inserts (they're the same as the EvoX).

@ jcm308... When i thought about doing the turbo swap, i knew i needed a Evo X intake and not a ralliart. I choose the relocation of the factory battery cause of the room it gave me in the engine bay and im not sure on how long a mini battery would last. The full size battery is the best for cold starts and long reserve time. If weight was a concern id say small battery all the way but i choose to just re-use my OEM since it was still in perfect condition.
