lol that's what everyone in the shop kept saying when i walked in with this:



first time i've heard that comment actually. i got it all for less than what a UR TBE would have cost. i have the UR HFC as well. it sounds good at idle, not really screaming at WOT and drones a bit at 1500-1900rpm. i might even get the centre pipe cut and put in the largest resonator i can find for that drone.

Nice exhaust. What is the material used for the midpipe or is it powdercoated?

 

it's powder coated grey. it's weird because DP isn't PC'd at all.

 

from the picture, u got DP, Center Pipe and Axle Back?

Would like to see some pics of it installed without the bubblewrap on the tips. That is weird that they PC the center pipe but not down pipe. I was debating between the HKS axle-back + mid-pipe or the AMS twin tip cat-back for a while. Ended up getting the AMS but I do really like the tips alot on the HKS. How much louder is it now over stock with the full TBE u got? I heard the cat-back is not any louder then stock but wondering how loud your setup would be.

 

it sounds awesome so far. i think it's even quieter at cruise speed on the hwy. off throttle it really rumbles/resonates between 1500-1700 rpm. at mid throttle and WOT its definitely louder. i can't describe it, but it's like stock but with more rumble.
