So I've done this to the last couple wrxs I've had and have been tossing the idea about doing it to my ralliart. I've liked the thin pinstriping and wondered if our ring was just too thick. I finally got som thick vinyl and gave it a try...

I like the way it looks. Now I just need to plastidip my side window chrome and do my rear emblem in red vinyl and the look will be complete. Also am going to pain tmy stock wheels graphite which should set it all off!

I like the look on the subies, but I think it is too much on the RA. The ring is too thick IMHO.

 

The RA reminds me of the Aston Martin DBR9. I'm not a big fan of that car's nose either.

 

i think this was a failed experiment. The red just clashes and stands out too much on the lancer.

 

I love it on the Rex not so much on the Ralliart

 

Here's what I wonder. I have some thin pin striping. I wonder how it would look to plasitidip the ring them put the thin ring of red on it. Hmmmm I think the evo chrome ring would be the perfect size to do it to though.

 

That might work, but I think the opening is just too big.

 

A thin stripe, like on the Subarus, might work better.

IMO i dont like it. I think you should try to just paint it light gray along with the nose just like the black X mr's .

 

the red looks good on the subarus, but not the RA...the nose ring on the RA is too thick
