What about now? Any updates?

Seriously tho, can't wait for the results. Could you post up your finished dyno sheet and you experience with the swap in my turbo swaps thread? Would be appreciated.

Yes sir, sure can! I'm going to ask for an overlay of Stock RA/Tuned X and Tuned RA/Tuned X.
I'm waiting for the AEM intake (s/b here this week), so most likely next week
I know this is a little early, but that TR widemouth is so sexy, I had to share, haha!

nice to see another ralliart getting a real turbo!

buying bolt-ons for the RA is a waste of money when you keep an eye out for turbo swap parts like this

too bad a battery bracket couldn't allow for a better intake

I viewed it as being stated subjectively:
buying bolt-ons for the RA is a waste of money when you keep an eye out for turbo swap parts like this
Yes bolt-on's maximize the potential of what you already have (basically increase your VE), even on N/A cars; but when a turbo swap or bolt-on's are comparably priced, the turbo wins out

does that crap stuck in the manifold in the first pic produce extra powa?

on a serious note, awesome!, proud of ya, you will feel like u have lost your virginity all over again once its tuned and you take her for your first drive and feel how much stronger it is.

like what you said in a few earlier posts, it took me almost a year to gather everything very slowly, and i eventually put together a powerhouse. Now im ready to go farther im ready to push for 400hp/tq

HAHA,yeah the guy I got it from sealed everything with shop towels (those generic blues on), so nothing would come off in the car (carbon soot, oil, coolant, etc).
Yeah this is step 2 of 3 (1 being fully tuned stock turbo). Step 3 is for a year from now to hit my goal, same as you, 400whp

atm my X Swap is at 335whp on 91 oct and still not finished tuning. It pulls like a beast. Make sure you get an EXPERIENCED tuner to work on your car. My local tune was 292whp and drove like crap compared to the tune i'm working on right now.

not to thread hi-jack but yes after my wedding in the spring i'll be tossing a green and supporting mods, fiuel pump, injectors, cams, and probably a new wga. Everything else I have on the car will welcome the power.

Going stock x parts for the swap is definitely cheaper than the way I went. With all my AMS parts I could have easily bought an MR.

There is an X in Alberta here with a similar setup putting down 420ish whp.

And sorry my threads on here aren't updated very often. My car club usually hangs on evoxforums so i'm active there. Build thread etc, same username.

basically the same thing, tho i plan on going for the safe route first. All cooling mods, brakes, then my 400 goal.
