Wide body

YO!! So, I have been thinking of appearance stuff to do to my car and I have decided to go with a wide body kit. Nothing too ridiculous though. The main reason is because I bought the car with wider wheels on it, I got wider tires for it, and I love the look. I really want to lower it but my tires scrape sometimes just sitting on stock suspension. I have been looking through sites at what they have in wide body kits but nothing has really caught my eye. I was wondering if you guys might have seen something along the way that you might think would look good.

Thanks. I'm looking to see what other people have seen. I haven't bought and installed one yet.

Failing that, just flare your rear / front guards

Thats for the Evo X and not the ralliart! I think body-kits has something similar though for the ralliart.

The Carbon Full kit shows a price of 556,500 Yen which is about $7,200US. Not cheap but not near the price of a new RA.

As to fitment, since it replaces the front fenders and bumper it should fit the RA but if you're going to gain rear wheel clearance there will be cutting of the factory sheet metal. I guess it's the price you have to pay to run some wide wheels.

I already talked to them about that out for the RalliArt. They said it would not fit due to body panel differences. Body-kit.com has a nice one from Accolade that I'm looking at getting

Yes they do. The Evo X body is different then the ralliart. The evo is wider and a bunch of other stuff. Only the Lancer or Ralliart can fit our because they are the same body.

you could always go with the new chargespeed kit for the ralliart...its only 4k not to bad at all. Considering each OEM piece on a X is msrp at around $600
