Varis car finally done! (56k beware!)
+28 would bring the rear in about 1/2 inch....so it would still be pushing it a bit...but much more reasonable, +34 I think is the "correct" offset for the evo in the CE28...this will fit with no rubbing issues or anything...and you will look like every other evo that has ce28s
Its hard not to do the same thing that everyone else does because the parts are so common sometimes. Its the little things that set each owners car apart. I' glad you reply to your posts despite the flak from some people.
all the stuff just looks tacked on...like it was an afterthought more than a planned vehicle. like you pasted one thing on and was like, "ooooh that looks cool too," and just shoved something else on. the parts don't flow well with the car. and the wheels...lol... you'd think somebody would have asked, "will these fit?" BEFORE you put them on the car. i know we all have AWD EVO's, but congrats on the first Z-71.

I'd like to see this Varis car go up against this car:

IMO, that's how an Evo should look. Clean, simple, aggressive, and fast as hell. This will be the approach I take when I do suspension and big wheels/tires. Btw, those are 275s on Works rims...

I know this isn't Varis, but some of these kits seem to make a difference. This is a test by Japanese mag with increasing number of C-West parts. From 1-5 with 1=stock and 2=with the rear wing etc.
From the top line: front bumper, hood, rear wing, lap time, max speed, min speed, ambient temp. and I don't know what the last line tell you but its unit is in degC (prolly intake temp.)

Now, I don't know what track this is or who drove the thing, but it does seem to make a difference. btw no.3 says 1'05"176, top 180.5km/h, 57.9km/h, 32-34.2degC and 82-85degC. It has only the front bumper from C-West. I don't know if the Varis kit works, but the Varis looks a lot better than the C-West IMO.
However, 2.6secs over 1'06" seems a bit much, unless it's really pumping out downforce...
