Does anyone know how many SEs were made
(sorry, it just seems like this question always goes unanswered).

I see so many Evo's around for such low production numbers. I pretty much see at least 1 to 3 a day in my area. I'd really like to see what the finished product looks like for the X. So far I no likey but we'll see.

The first link doesn't work. Do you know if they have a breakdown my trim level for the Evo?

My Mitsubishi service request question was “How many Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX were exported to the United States by model and color”?

The Mitsubishi case manager assigned to my case was wonderful to work with on this request. However, misinformation was given to me in the following forum thread. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...uction+numbers

The following information took weeks for the case manager to compile. The case manager did not have data regarding color production numbers but did give me the following data:

0358 - Evolution IX RS
3667 - Evolution IX (includes SE editions)
4176 - Evolution IX MR
8201 - Total exported Evolution IX to North America (USA)

I asked if this information could be published publicly. The case manager responded “YES” to my question. I then requested an official Mitsubishi document with this data. Unfortunately, the case manager responded “NO” to the request

I’m sure many people will question this information. For those needing proof, Please call Mitsubishi customer care for the United States at 1-888-648-7820 and be sure to request a service request number.

I was hoping to have a lower MR export number but at the end of the day, I could careless if 100,000 or 4176 MR were export to the Untied States, I still love this car

The Evolution IX will be used as performance benchmark for years to come…

so this gives the totals

Is there any way of finding out what the numbers are on the specific colors for each year?

The 58% increase can be accounted for because the IX's were sold for 2 years.

The answer is "NO". I have a service request with Mitsubishi of North America and the only data available at this time is:

1. Export Evolutions by model
2. Evolutions sold by state

I hope this helps

I asked this same question. The Mitsubishi case manager I have been working only had the total exported NA Evolution IX models which included the SE.

I never ever see an Evo, I always see Sti's. I didn't know that not many were produced compared to every other car out there that is a very small production number.
Also you have to take into account in how many have been wrecked.

i am pretty sure that article was talking about per month. the first article had yearly totals to date in the table but the second article had no reference to ytd.
