*NEW AMS PRODUCT* Shave your moustache!! save 13Lbs

IN STOCK AND READY TO SHIP!

Its time for another AMS product release!!

AMS has come up with a great way to eliminate that nasty noise from your rear differential during a strong shift and also shave 13LBS OFF THE CAR...thats right 13 POUNDS!!!

Introducing the AMS Moustache bar eliminator!

Made of 100% billet 6061 Aluminum and CNC machined for accurate tolerances. The piece is one of the best bang for the buck weight saving pieces available!

Please keep in mind because the bar is being eliminated along with some bushings this piece will transfer a little bit of drivetrain noise through the rear chassis of the car. It is very livable though

Edit: this peice now comes with two solid bushings for the side of diff to allow for even less differential movement!

Available now for $219.95

I am a little confused. Doesn't the mustache bar have two mounting points? It looks like this peice would allow the diff to twist since you no longer have four mounting points but only three. I built my mirage with only three mounts. I thought the three foot rear bar would be sufficient at keeping the rear end from twisting. I was very wrong. I have popped the axles out twice from the diff twisting on a hard take off. Its been on my list to add a moustage bar mount to the front to keep this from happening.

I will have a pic of it mounted to the car here shortly.

Its a very beefy CNC'd piece which is where the cost comes into play. The three bolt holes actually bolt to the differential and the 90 Deg threaded end will attach to the alluminum bar directly behind the diff.

How exactly does this eliminate the loud thump during hard shifts? I'm genuinely interested. Every time I hear the noise, I feel so terrible.
