So, what is the deal with the X? Is this car going to be a relatively small production run like the previous ones or will this car be no different than ordering a higher trim level of any other car?

I haven't seen any predicted production numbers as of yet.

Also do you think Mitsu could get off their asses and update their website. I know they are here why not have the "build it" section of the website updated to reflect that.

 

I have heard about 4500 for the whole country, for all of 2008. Two different dealers told me this, so take it with a grain of salt because you know how most of 'em lie about everything, but seems legit enough to me. Who knows...

08 run will be short and then the 09 will come out in the summer, no biggie.

Some dealers were putting a spin on it like this is s limited production run and no more will come out after this

I'm not worried about getting one or anything like that. I just miss having a car that there aren't a 100 of driving around my area.

That and I think the limited availability really helped the re-sale on my VIII. So, I was wondering if this car would be similar in that respect.

My dealer did not know for sure, but they are speculating that the '09s may hit in October with the possibility of an '08 MR shortly before that.

its because we could not order black with inital allocations... I can order black now, I have 2 MR's coming in PB... just ordered a GSR

 

When are you expecting black cars to come in?

I'm looking to trade my Mazdaspeed 3 in on a GSR loaded with Navigation around April-May (I'm swamped in tax season right now).

Flash back. Brings me back to '03 when the EVO VIII came out, I picked mine up on March 14th (couple of days after the dealership got it) and then later that year they managed to squeeze in the MR, followed by the '04's, wierd.

 

It's a great daily driver. It's the first FWD car I've ever owned but I love the torque and room the hatch affords.

That said, I'm consolidating cars as I find I never drive the Porsche and can't see myself owning just a FWD car.
