Now just to make it clear, because i am a noob, you do this under the assumption the injectors are properly set. i.e. if i was adding injectors and an intake i would add the intake, adjust the MAF scaling and then the injectors and work with the latencies and injector scaling (or vice-versa). You would want to make sure one is set since you are using STFT and MTFT as the delta for both.

Also, to log Hz I have Mitsulogger. There is a built in log reference to log airflow by using address 1A and evaluating it with x*6.29 = a Hz value. Is this correct?

I'm running the HKS intake on my car and the most trim I've seen so far is +3 low +1 mid, with 6-7 STFT.

A friend of mine is running the ETS and I tried moving the maf scale 70 points forward and backward, and the hz will not drop below 50-60 at idle..

Any other ways to get around the intake pecularities and make it read proper so the car will idle?

Sh*t.

But I'm also trying to dial in some 1000's and deal with the intake at the same time. I think I'm going to have put in some stockers and tweak the intake in, then put the 1000's back in.

Everyone keeps saying to put the stock intake back on but im pretty convinced thats not the problem. Im going to do it tomorrow I think just to see.

I had my ETS intake dialed in pretty good to the best of my knowledge, I can send you the values if you want.

I run the Injen intake with no MAF scaling. Injector scaling is key IMO

Good Luck

PS 1200cc injectors here trims are plus minus one and driveability is great

I can confirm that if you take off your ETS pipe, and use your rubber stock pipe your idle will go back to near perfect. I had at least 3 tuners on the forums here try to tune in the maf, and whatever else to get the ets intake to idle and none were successful. Without touching the tune and replacing the ets pipe with the stock one, my vacuum at idle increased, and the car idles perfectly around 14.7 afr's. I am still determined though to get it working correctly... g/l and keep us posted. I'm dying to get the ets pipe idling right!

well I put the stock injectors back in and the car runs great! The idle trim still won't move cuz its still idling at around 50-60hz, but the mid trim is pulling 12 percent fuel, and the short term 20ish. Its actually causing it to throw a p0172.

That doesn't make much sense to me, as I thought it had to trim rich, not lean with this intake? Plus that means most the scalings I tried with the 1k's weren't right, as the car never ran that well with them but fine with the stockers...
