Tre rear diff upgrade!!!! Maxx lock

The single best mod I have done to my car to date. The diff made my car a whole different car can we say throttle oversteer (yes we can). My car has been plagued by under steer ever since i bought partly due to the aggressive wheel set up i have but the diff allowed me to achieve rotation with the throttle, just like a rear wheel drive car. This mod made fall in love with the evo all over again. If anyone is on the fence with this mod do it it is worth every penny.

I believe jon also has core excahnge program now so he will send you a new diff and then you swap yours and send the old one back to him.

thanx tre for great service.

Does it snap around at all or is the oversteer fairly progressive and controllable? JW, cause I came from 240sx's and this seems like it may make me happy .

Everyone with this mod is a lucky man, enjoy it. I can't wait for my rear to be toasted so I can justify the downtime that comes with the upgrade.

Huge thread about this in the motorsports forum. People that actually race their car in more than just a straight line are claiming its the shizzle.

A good source tells me it's pretty much a DIY. The way the manual shows the dif is the way you want to make it, for what ever reason Mitsu saw fit to do it with 1/2 the surface area engaging by changing the order of the plates

.

yeah i also came from a 240 actually a drfiting back ground and my break in procedure was to drive to the track 150 miles. oversteer is very proggesive it does not act any different on entry and rotoates only when on throttle

If all I was doing was swapping the plates around, I would have told everyone to do just that.

The latest version that I've been testing has 16 friction plates, not 12 like the OEM stuff, and it will be available once it has proven itself worthy.

ing, but I'll bet a large, large part of what you do. Strange that Mitsu puts this in their manual but not their cars.
