Z1 star specs.
I run 255/40's in Azenis RT-615's without any issues. I kinda was thinking the same size.
What is "overkill"? Is it overkill to have a car that runs 13's out of the box? Is it overkill to reach 110 going up an on ramp? Is it overkill to scatter the groceries throughout the trunk every time I take turn on the way home from the store? Everything about an evo, with the exception of the warranty, is overkill. Go get your frickin tires. You'll love em.

If AXing, I like the taller 245/45's to get more out of them on long 2nd gear tracks. If HPDEing, I like the 245/40 or 255/40's for more tire patch. I would go 245/40 in that choice due to weight savings - 2 lbs a corner.

Yeah I got that man but the angle of that picture makes it really hard to interpret. Could've taken a picture from the side to show the stock wheel, tire sidewall, and ride height. I'm just saying...
