It shouldn`t interfere with your boost controller.

Anyway .. if you log your throttle .. you notice that despite what they draw on the curves on the box.. your throttle actually takes a nosedive at 50% because thats when the correction stops and it reverts to stock setting .. not the smooth curve they draw out to be ..

so in SP1 .. at 70% .. it suddenly drops to 50% and becomes normal throttle onwards
SP2 at 77%
SP3 at 87%

All these settings just plummets after 50% throttle position .. which is weird ..

I have it installed .. and after the initial fun factor wore off .. I seldom turn it on now ..

My friend has it and he loves it .. so I guess its subjective and how you drive or setup your car ..
I'm somewhat confused by this. Are you saying that at SP1, when you hit 70% throttle, it suddenly drops to 50% and then goes up to 87% like stock?

yes you understand correctly

That is what happens .. alot of problems that guys face is overboost when the Blitz suddenly plummets to 50% throttle from 70+% ..

12% to 87%
SP1
12% to 71% .. then drop to 50% and climbs back up to 87% etcetc

you guys do realize that if you open your Evo X's rom file in ECUFlash that you have a drive by wire map right? just like an STi has?...so you can tune the throttle to be more snappy if thats what you want?...you guys also realize that for about the same price (possibly more depending on your tuner) you could get your entire car tuned AND get the snappy throttle response...

just seems stupid to me to buy something so expensive that would be done anyway if you got a tune

maybe there arent alot of people that have seen an Evo X ROM yet...did ECUFlash for the evo X get publicly released yet?...if not then my bad guys

True, but you dont have the convenience of switching between 4 different maps in an instant, or returned back to stock map instantly with the unit off.

Whether it is worth is personal preference, this is just like saying an aftermarket intake is useless because the gains will be minimal after a tune with stock intake.

It certainly didn`t ¨feel¨that way when you drive as the acceleration is silky smooth, but good info nevertheless.

An intake yields real gains, regardless of how small, this product doesn't increase power at all so it's a very different argument.

im just saying most people would prefer a snappier throttle in such a performance driven car and if you go and get a tune for it they can do that

I know, I had my WRX tuned (drive-by-wire throttle system) and the throttle is much improved.

Then it would not be controlled on the fly. So you ask your tuner to make it so the throttle is super sensitive. Your gas mileage drops 5mpg with the same driving style. What do you do now? get it re-tuned. Some people just like extra buttons with more configurations for their cars. The SST equipped cars have a big lag from when you press the gas pedal even in sport mode.

I will flash my car first. After that, I'll decide to try this out. Looks like it'll help with the launch on the non-launch control Ralliarts.

Or you can just save yourself the money and learn how to adjust your own driving style.
