I like Shenandoah also but be careful out there! You might want to check out my vid on youtube last year when I had a scooby. (The EVO is worlds better right out of the box)

Trackdaze puts on a great event. $365 for two days is an awesome deal and Shenandoah is a very fun course.
I've done this and the October event for the past few years now, very good group of guys. This is the first year I'm not able to attend due to prior commitments but hopefully I'll be able to get back there next year. Have fun!

What's the deposit about? I've thought about instructing for track daze since they're pretty much a NASA spinoff and most of our NASA MA guys work w/ TrackDaze too. lol I remember doing HPDEs with the founder guy. Very loud R32 if I'm not mistaken.

Unfortunately my tax return will go towards this

It's a solid battle scar. It looked like you were running well otherwise. I'll be at Trackdaze' Thunderbolt event next month so hopefully I'll see you there.
Best of luck getting that wall rash cleaned up!

I was running the Dunlop Direzzas on Saturday because we had intermittent light rain and my R888s didn't have much tread left on them. I was pretty impressed with their performance, but after pushing hard for several laps I think they overheated and became greasy. I was going into the carousel a little faster on each lap, so once the planets aligned the car popped out of the carousel, hit the wet grass and hello tirewall.
You know I like to push it, so going at a moderately safe speed through the carousel wasn't an option at the time
I did calm down a little after that, and I'm chickening out on the carousel now. Not attacking it as hard as I was. Pity.
My data logging showed that the full tread Dunlops were only about 2-3 seconds slower than the shaved R888s. Pretty impressive.
