I have wondered the same, but haven't seen actual results comparing the two setups. The only numbers I saw was when one of the mags compared the GSR, RS, and MR on a track and they said the GSR was quicker on the high speed sweepers.

Last month I was out on Pocono North, and for those who know the course I was about 10mph quicker coming off the oval into the infield compared to my friend in an MR. However, I think that was pure ***** rather than grip considering I don't have a wing. I couldn't help but think how much more stable the car would've felt had I had a wing. I'm kinda hesitant to get an adjustable wing just because I would immediately get pulled over on the highway for being a ricer! So I've been thinking about getting a stock IX wing.

So I guess the $200 question is will it make a noticeable improvement?

No kidding! lol

Look at this ridiculous thing!

That's the mock-up with the risers I just had made. lol, wow. I'd never be able to drive this thing on the street. It sure as heck helps my rear view though!
