Use the GM boost solonoid. You boost will still tapper some though, but it should hold 20psi to redline.

 

20 psi , That's almost stock. I was hoping it would hold atleast 25. Which one holds more than 20?

Okay, I got the GM Boost solenoid in today. However, it didn't come with the connector/pigtail. I emailed gmpartsdirect and they said they no longer make it. Does this sound right?

I installed the GM solenoid and was able to eliminate the taper. The car holds 20-21 psi to 7500 rpm. This is with 280 cams.

With the MBC the best the car would do was about 17-18 at redline. Probably picked up about 20-30hp for about $40.00.
