What setting do you have for your knock control on your aem?
is 2.0 volts to high?

 

Mine peaks out at 2 volts at 7000 rpm. My normal noise range is usually 1.6/1.8 volt at 7k so I put it just a tad over becuase if you do end up knocking you will usually see a spike usually close to a volt over your noise table at least. 5200/5400 rpms seem to be the tricky spot, Every motor will make a different amount of noise though. If you aren't sure go run race fuel on the same tune and see if you make the same amount of noise looking at the Knock#1 Volts in your log.
