The AEM wideband only reads from 10.0 to 18.0, that is why. So your car is probably too rich.

You should actually go lean, when alcohol is activated.

Alcohol is not gasoline, which is what the sensors are calibrated for, gasoline.

alcohol is not gasoline...but it does make your fuel trims richer....so my guess is that he gave you a conservative tune ...in terms of fuel ..but made up with it in timing...al liikes to do that just incase the alcohol fails...and your motor goes boom because you're too lean...saves his *** and yours....that's his lawyer side kicking in ...heheh

...i got tuned by al ...and i'm still rich...gotta get tuned again...gas is killing me

Nice, an amateur AFR gauge reader has joined the thread, welcome and have some tea.

Well, the way I can tell if I'm going lean is if the lightish-green LED on the left side of the gauge is in the 11:30 o'clock position. Thats about where it starts to turn red, about 12 o'clock, you know what I mean?

take it easy professional a hole....its the aem gauge and it has both number and color....what i was wondering was why it went off the scale...like the number part doesnt have a reading...I was saying that when alcohol started spraying the number went toward the green not toward the red....but other times it goes the other way from green to red....off chart tooo...i have no idea what the hell is going on
