Base Map and Beginnings

I just purchased my AEM EMS. I do not have the IAT or MAP sensors, but I will be adding them in two weeks. I will also be adding an EGT input, and running a PLX wideband, which is TBA.

AFter I get the wideband for X-Mas, the unit will be installed and brought online using almost every option to run it, the speed density conversion, EGT, Wideband AFR, etc etc.

What I want to know is, what is the base map for the Evo designed to do?

Considering an autotune option for temporary use until I get my turbo kit sorted and installed....anyone ever use this? Havent heard much of it.....

I basically just looking for an answer as to what to expect from the unit from the get go, and what Ive got to do to make it seamlessly operate. Thanks

The base map may start your car and it may not. I don't even start with their included base calibration because too many things need changed. Autotune works alright for light throttle, but I wouldn't advise using it in boost. You will need someone to tune your car, so let us know where you're located and we'll see who can help you out.
