No Lift Shift/2 step in an 05
No Lift Shift/2 step in an 05
Has anyone got their AEM to work off the clutch switch so that they can use it to no lift shift? I have the 2 step working but only for launch.
Yes but I prefer to use the primary rev limiter between shifts
Otherwise it seemed to create a lag from when my clutch was let out to when it would allow power again. It kinda seemed like the car was choking power until I was solidly into the next gear causing the car to slow down pretty good between shifts.
Im sure with enough screwing around you could make it timed right... I think my problem was my clutch was engaging too low and the switch was not switching until the clutch was much higher. (If that makes any sense).

By the way, the only rev limit you can set it to I believe is the 2-step limit. So whatever your launch RPM will be will also be the shift-no-lift.
I havent screwed with it much but Im pretty sure this is the only way.
You shift fast
Just bang it!
