I just bought an Evo VIII and I am adding:

HKS 264 CAMS (intake and exhaust)
EXEDY HYPER TWIN CLUTCH
SUPERTECH VALVE SPRINGS AND RETAINERS
3,0" APR FULL TURBO EXHAUST
K&N PANEL FILTER
HKS TYPE 1 TURBO TIMER

In Brazil there arent any good EVO shops or mechanics.
So what should I add: EMS or Reflash the ECU?
I need something that will not brake or give me any
problems since there arent any shops down here
that can help me if something goes wrong.

Any suggestions?

 

Definately Flash if there aren't any good shops around. With EMS you REALLY need to know how a car operates in and out to keep up with it. I just got it installed on my car with a stock turbo still on and i love it, but if you dont know much about tuning stick with a flash. If you know how to program a cars ECU from start to finish, go for ems. plus ems is big $$$ as opposed to a flash being medium $$

 

Do you know anyone that does reflash for people living abroad? I send a message to Dynoflash and they did not even bother to answer it so I spent US$4k last week on their
competitor buying all the stuff on my signature. They did not have a reflash, so I need
someone that will do reflash for someone abroad. Thanks.

Get a flash, save $1500 plus and run as fast. I had friends that spent $3500 plus in aftermarket ECU $hit (Autronic, UTEC) and at the end of the day my flash was equally eficient.

Just get a relaible ,experience well known and recognized tuner and have them reflash you. It is the best bung for the buck. Good luck
