I bought an aem off of a guy locally and he provided the iat sensor. I would imagine that this is the gm model, but I could be wrong. Would anyone here know where I could source an aluminum or ss bung to weld up on the i/c pipe for the sensor? Thanks in advance!

 

Call AEM and see if they can source you one 310-484-2322. Or go to the hardware store and buy a pipe thread reducer. The sensor is 1/4" or 3/8" NPT thread, it will thread into the new fitting and have male threads that can tap into your i/c pipe. You may have to trim some of the new fitting dow so it doesn't protrued into the pipe so much that cuases a restriction, just enough so the AIT sensor is in the air stream. Once you happy with the mounting of it, weld a bead around it.

This can also be done with a SS nut from the hardware store as well. Done it many of times for an o2 bung.
