Don't know if this is the right thread but I need to make my car stand alone, and I need to know what parts, sensors etc I need, all from AEM, don't ask me why... it is a long story. I know i need the ECU and UEGO controller but what else?

Because the exact part numbers and how to install the sensors has been on this board since November/December 2003. www.aempower.com would be a good place to start as well.

because this is a public forum, not a babysitting service, if you want to be spoon-fed I suggest going elsewhere!

With AEM you can get

1) EMS with integrated wideband or (part # 1313U)
2) EMS with a separte wide band (1313).

I went with 1313 and separately bought a AEM UEGO controller (wideband)

To convert to speed density map you'll need a
a) 3.5 bar map sensor or 5bar map sensor (if you plan to run stock like boost levels even upto 28psi i think u should be fine with a 3.5
b) AIT Sensor
c) Turbo Inlet pipe and intake filter
d) MBC or a GM boost solenoid

You'll need a few other minor things for the install but any competent tuner will be able to. Depending on where you live please get a competent tuner to install and tune.

good luck

Do you need a stand alone? What mods do you have/plan on having in the near future?

Make sure you know what you are getting into and get a experienced tuner who has been tuning AEM's and Evos.

You are looking at around 1700-2k plus a tune, (i would get 2 maps one for pump 22psi max and one race gas map.)
Look on here for a used AEM.

Make sure they (which ever tuner tune your AEM) has knock control turned on.

damn you guys are hella ****ed up, everyone loves wasting time insulting someone, instead of just helping, ya know there is a difference between looking up stuff, and hearing personal responses to how they did something, why is it so hard for you guys to get off your high horse and just explain something, if you don't want to explain, then don't say anything, you don't have to, just SHUT UP THEN, damn i hate people like you guys. If someone asks me for help and i know the answer i'll help out, not become all **** and broadcast it like you jerks.
