Buschur's AEM package???

Has anyone ordered buschur's AEM package where he gives you the ecu and a tune with 2 maps pump and race gas? I was considering a while ago and am wondering if anyone has any feedback on it? How accurate are the tunes?

i would do it, i wouldnt be too worried about his tune, as he definately knows what he is doing...i believe he tunes all of the cars that come out of his shop, so he's tuned their 8 sec evo, as well as al's 900whp evo..so you shouldnt have anything to worry about

David is definately a great tuner.

What he does when the AEM is purchased here is... after it is installed and you are ready to go you would send him an email with a detailed list of your setup and what octane gas you are running. He will then send you a map to download into your laptop and load into your AEM that will be close to what you need. You would load it in your car and do a data log. You then would pull the datalog from your laptop and email it back to him so he can verify all the parameters and #'s to make sure it is accurate. If adjustments need done he will do so. Its really not complicated at all and is about as accurate as you will get without a full dyno session. He does this on almost a daily basis with great results.

Also when the AEM is purchased from us you will get EVERYTHING that you will need as well as tech support.

If you have any other questions or concerns dont hesitate to ask man. Thanks

Thanks for the detailed info Jrod. I understand how the deal works, I'm just lookin to hear from people that have done it. Again, I know David is a great tuner, theres no doubt about that, I'm just curious as to how accurate the tunes are without even seeing the car.(again, completely serious, not being a wise *** at all)

I bought my EMS from Buschur and was very happy with everything. Buschur Racing is a great place to deal with.

I definitely recommend getting it tuned at Buschur's shop if possible. I live in FL and was unable to do so and didn't want to deal with e-mailing logs and maps back and forth, so I just got it tuned locally but used Dave's base map as a solid starting point.

Does dave send a base map with all his AEM EMS purchases?

I bought the AEM EMS package from Buschur and was more than happy with it. It comes with EVERYTHING you need, which is a plus as there are several parts you need for the install and it makes things much easier. Also, Ive sent data logs to David several times to check things are running well, see if any adjustments can be made, etc.. and he has always promptly responded.

The Buschur AEM kit comes with "everything" and "all" the sensors. Could someone post a component list? The only thing I could find on the website were some pictures (I'm an engineer, so its in my nature to quadruple check everything, sorry!).

I like to get a real good idea what it takes to install the whole set up so I can minimize suprises when I get everything in my shop.

Thanks!!

I just recently had this package installed.

WOW is all I can say!!

You get the AEM box, Wideband, 5BAR MAP Sensor w/ mounting bung, IAT Sensor w/ bung to be welded into the upper intercooler pipe.

The tune and the service David gives you is top notch!! I was very impressed with the hp gains and the driveability.

Thanks,

Eric

I got the AEM set up from Buscher about a year ago and David checks and tweaks both my pump and race gas maps on a regular basis through emails. He is very prompt. He definately knows what he is doing just by looking at the map and with my input on what it is doing.
