I just installed the air intake temperature sensor, and will be testing to see how many degrees above my idle reading i'm going to get on a drag race. Anyone here have info to use as a comparison? I am on the stock intercooler for now, will be upgrading later on after collecting data to be able to compare temperature readings.

 

I have mine located in the same spot. With the stock IC and GT30R I would see up to 30 deg F temperature rise over a full 2nd and 3rd gear run. With the Turbo XS FMIC it dropped to about 12-15, and with the addition of a splitter it went down to about 6-7 deg F of gain. I don't remember exactly what my idle temp was at though.
