ecuflash to aem

hi guys, my cars running pretty much full bolt ons just now on stock turbo using stock ecu.

i have about $2000 to spend on new mods, i have plans on going for build engine and bigger turbo in the near future, but i cant decide if its worth getting the aem first before buolding block etc

basically am i gonna see significant gains if my mods stayed the same by just changing to aem and a new tune?

thanks

I just built the block, did a little head work, and a 37r turbo. On my huge list of mods, the AEM ended up being the one that made the most different. I had 3 tuners try to tune my car, non of which made it anywhere near drivable. The AEM made the car run like STOCK and the amount of control is impressive. If your car still runs as smooth as stock, I'd say hold of until a huge mod messes that up for you. DEF worth it in the long run.

All depending your ultimate goal for the car. If your hp goal is beyond/outrunning the stock MAF and want full controll with real time tuning, go AEM. The stock ECU tuning is very powerful, it comes down to tuning.

I went AEM on my car 2 years ago and have never looked back.

Let me know if you have any questions.
