long crank and stalling

i just had my aem 1313u installed this weekend at turbo trix and i noticed a few things that i have to question if any one else has experienced. the day after i picked up the car i noticed that it takes a long time to start, sometimes several tries. when is does start sometimes the idle will surge up to 2500 for 20 seconds or so and then idle fine. the other thing i noticed is that when i come to a stop or a red light and i put the clutch in the car dies out at times or it will seem like it will die out and then recovers. any one noticed any of this?

there are numerous maps for corrections to fuel during start up, warm up and idle that can be tweeked to resolve the issues. These maps are time consuming to tune out, because once the car is warm, you have to wait till it fully cools to get another crack at making changes to see if it helps starting issues or rough conditions until you reach full operating temperature. It's something a tuner can't reasonably get done in a day, unless his start up map is almost spot on to begin with for your particular setup (including BISS adjustment, etc.). I'm just beginning week 2 of trying to get my car to start and idle fine from a cold start and up to operating temperature. It is time consuming, but this is also my first stab at the AEM platform.

oh i got ya, i was just checking to see if it was something that was messed up. i will say that its not all the time just sometimes, the tune is great, makes awsome power, i dont doubt the guys at turbo trix, they do a awsome job. i was just checking to see some opinions. i know they can make it better, i will mention it to them when i go a a retune after i install my cams. thanks

For the stalling issue, open Idle - Options, then set Hi Idle Car Speed to around 15mph and set High idle RPM offset to 200. That should clear it up if the idle% vs target table is dialed in.
