Starting problems... HELP!!

I bought the car with the EMS already in it, so I don't know much about it at all. Since my Evo is my only car, I really need to get it back on the road. I would really appreciate any help on this issue.

Brief description of the car:

'03 Evo 8
GT35R
1000cc injectors
dual Walbro pumps
TurboTrix built 2.3L
TurboTrix race head
HKS 280
AEM Twinpower ignition
Upgrade Coil Pack(from Honda CBR600 IIRC)
EMS tuned by Mark@TurboTrix(so I doubt the tune is the issue... as he is a very reputable tuner)

A week ago, EMS had to be reset to get the fuel pumps working. It was not turning on the fuel pump, and I was told to reset the unit by the previous owner. After resetting it by unplugging the unit and plugging it back in, the car started and everything was back to normal. I was told to contact AEM and get the unit warranteed, as it probably will have the same problem again in the future.

Fast forward to this afternoon, I was about to head over to my friend's house. I got in the car, turned the key to on, heard the fuel pumps priming, and then went on to start the car. It didn't start. Everything is working fine. The AEM Twin Power ignition is getting power, starter is working, battery is fine, etc. The car does crank but it just won't turn over. Since I drive the car everyday, including last night at 4AM, I can only think that the EMS might have taken a dump, as I didn't notice any mechanical problems at all. Cold starts, while it sometimes took 5-6 seconds of cranking to turn over, has never been a problem for the 3 weeks I've owned the car for.

Now, what are the things that I should look for and how? I only had the car for 3 weeks so I am not very familiar with it. So if you guys can point out some things to look for, that would help me out greatly. Would I be able to find anything by connecting the EMS to a laptop? I've never used the software before, so which things should I check once I connect it? Do I need to have it connected, try to start the car, and then look at some data?

Sorry for the noob questions... again, I would really appreciate any help on this. Thanks in advance.
