EGT sensors with the aem ems series 1

What do I need to make EGT sensors work with my series 1? Do I need some type of controller box like you would with certain coil packs(CDI) or am I just able to wire them directly to my ems?

I don't have first hand experience with EGT sensors, but after reading some documentation, it appears they are a simple output devices with two wires. One wire being the signal wire and one the ground. I don't know if the ground should be connected to sensor ground or chassis ground. If you have an Evo 8 with the 30-1313 series 1 box, the EGT inputs are...

EGT #1 - pin 74
EGT #2 - pin 53
EGT #3 - pin 42
EGT #4 - pin 41
