R/TErnie's Evo 9 2.2L 4G64 EFR7670
And another one to break it out.
yeah it measures the ethanol content (Percentage) and outputs a square wave. The amplitude of the square wave is the fuel temperature and the frequency is the ethanol percentage... IIRC its 50Hz to 150Hz?
Anyway..below is where I put it. haven't made a bracket yet.
This part deserves more than one picture. It's a titanium mounting bracket that I made by hand. spent 3 hours on this badboy. I'll be sure to take a better picture.

I mounted my catch can finally. Fits well. Won't interfere with my 4" x 12" K&N filter air box in the driver's side bumper area.

Lines roughly routed. Sensors zip tied to firewall until I figure out how people mount these sensors the right way. Suggestions? Notice the T4 flange in space?

3" v-band, 3" to 3.5" transition, and then right into a 3.5" 90 degree elbow.

Placed in a reasonable spot

Throwing things out in space to help visualization.

First Runner done.

Collector shots

Mocked up in engine bay

The first time I didn't have to hold the turbo in the engine bay and make noises.... I just had to make noises and smile.

Showing the large gap that I'm going to remove... two pics

Showing the gap getting smaller...

Almost connected

Typical ADHD... I moved onto runner 3 before finishing number 2. You can see me pointing at where I want the centroid of this tube to be...as well as where it's currently at.

There I fixed it

Stu's turbo's I'll be porting for him. Hoping for 700! on the Pupra.

Shot of the Evo in the garage before I roll it out to do some other work for a while.

yeah the ethanol content sensor is flippin huge! i am planning on mounting it upside down to the strut bar with a 90*-6 going in it from the regulator and a strait -6 down to the return line. are you planning on running all the fuel strait thru it? i hear it can only flow 200lt/hr max. i might need a bypass loop to keep base fuel pressure low enough.
Curious where you heard that because the inlet and outlet are pretty large. BTW, there is a cable array that runs horizontally along the firewall in a rectangular plastic box below the brake booster. I ziptied my sensor to the box. Great location, and its been going strong for several years now.

Run the single 044 on a low voltage switch like the OEM evos... that's how I have mine setup.
Then my second pump triggers through the ECU and the relay. Then i won't overrun my regulator

Ernie. Did your ViPEC come just the board, then you had to take the stock ECU out of the case and replace it with the ViPEC?
Just asking, because the one for my MINI came in a case.

Don't mind the books their my wife's lol.

can the 044's be ran like that? i read that they dont like any kind of controller. maybe that was just the pwm kind.
not sure if its accurate but i saw it here. ill be running 2 044's, the second will come on under high boost/load though.
