guys im from Zamboanga City Philipines.... please help me out.. im plannin to buy an Evo.. what would you suggest?

 

Brand-new. With any used car (especially Evo's) you don't know how the previous owner treated it. With a new car, the only wrong things with the car will be what you do to it.

 

no offense to you mitsu guys, but an evo is one thing i would personally never buy used.

 

so.. brand new evos... ok is there a brand new Evo8MR here in Philippines? or what model of Brand new Evo would you suggest where can i buy it? and how much would it cost me?

do you mean a brand new evo8 mr or an used evo9? i don't think there are any new 8s, and if there are they're probably marked up (that's why dealers are dumb and can't sell/face the losses in the first place)

 

I am bias but i say 9mr new.... if your gonna buy a car and can afford it.. go with the best.. otherwise you'll always feel cheated in the end... and like they said dont buy a used one. when i bought mine i thought about a use 8mr and when i drove it i found out that the suspension bushings were bad and i believe the turbo was blown... for 26k no doubt....

If I were in Manila I would go for a well documented Evo 6. If this is your first evo they will all feel fast so I wouldnt spend extra for something I would not notice.

 

jsherwin, visit standoutmotors.com and arrange a deal. nice guy to talk to. I think there are evo 9s around. may silver 9mr sa ortigas. it's easy to find.. but you are in Zamboanga so you have to come here in manila.

I suggest getting the 9 eudm rs which is awesome! hehe... and cheaper too.

 

If you can afford brand new, why would you buy used? Buy new!
