Importing evo into S. Korea

does anyone know roughly how much it costs, the time it takes, insurance costs, etc???? Any help is much appreciated.

My evo just left Korea but it was sent through the military. I had Korean insurance which was $1183 USD a year. In Korea, they go by the value of the car and your driving record - so a $30k turbocharged AWD is the same price as any other $30K car. It is gonna cost about $1500-$3000 to ship from the states, depending on where it starts from.

Here is what is gonna kill you - the tax to register. For a japanese car, it is gonna be 40-60 percent. Lets put it this way. Koreans wanted to buy my 2003 evo for $45k because it was cheaper that way..... good luck
