Coming to Japan
Skylines are everywhere especially on the military bases so finding one shouldn't be hard I see all types mostly your basic non turbo base skyline, GTR's are pretty rare. My wifes dream JDM car was the S15 so we had to find her one. IDK about navy, Yokota 2 cars is no issue for a member w/ dependant. Good Luck with the move.
So how the everything going on your PCS and car hunting?? I hope you enjoy your time in here in Japan. My wife is now car hunting herself. She selling her S15 because she needs a 4 door.

Hey guys, my name's ken. I just got to Yokosuka this week and i'm thinking about getting an Evo, probably a IV. Any tips or tricks? Also, has anyone researched how to legally bring it back stateside and about how much it would cost? A buddy here on base said the law was if it didnt have an engine it could be brought back, any idea how true this is? Thanks.
I believe it true, put the engine in your HHG and should be good! I'm thinking of shipping my impreza back to the state but I'm going a different route, ship to Canada since that model is legal over there and wont have to deal with all emission and DOT inspection
