2000 Japan Spec Lancer QUERIES.
Hi,
Good day I ma new to the forum, I am about to buy a 2000 Japan Spec Lancer.. 1.6 GLXi. This is a 1600CC 16V, EFI SOHC Engine I believe, can anyone confirm the specfications on this engine including the performance and the engine code?
I am curious of what kind of performance I can expect out of this 1600 it is a 5 speed Manual. And what modifcations can I do to the engine to give it some more power? I know about the filter and exhaust etc, but what filter/exhaust and what setup would be recommended.

i'm also use this kind of engine but year 1996 model.. the engine code is 4G92 which same with mivec engine code. The power is arround 118hp (on engine maybe)..
for upgrade the best setup airfilter is using standard airbox with replacement K&N air filter, using the open pod air filter will cause no pick-up at low RPM.. i'm already done it..
