EvoM Filipino CLub
Have you seen this Rawand?
last week we were visited by our good friends and customers Frank and Mike Lipani. Frank and Mike are no stranger to Horsepower, having owned an AMS built 2.3 37R EVO they know speed and quite simply LOVE IT.
It was for this reason Frank and Mike called us up and offered us a project that was too sweet to pass up on. Frank and Mike want an AMS Built GTR! Over the winter we will be learning the in's and outs to this Japanese supercar and improving areas where we see fit. We will of course take the same approach to parts for the GTR as we have with all the varying makes and models in our lineup. Reliability, Performance and Quality will be at the forefront of every single part we build for the GTR. The Lipani's and AMS both have the same end goal in mind of making this a very streetable and manageable car. We are not going to turn it into a single purpose car but rather an all around car that I think we all can envy just a bit.
Everyone here at AMS wants to thank the Lipani's for not only having the faith in us to take their car to the next level but for being some of the best people we have every worked with. You started out as customers but above all you our are now friends.
I will do my best to keep everyone informed every step of the way as we start our next journey.....

Yes I saw that already, that is why medyo natawa na ako. As the Japs said, the GT-R is not a drag car, it is a track car and that is why Nismo hand built the car with pinpoint precision to keep it at its perfect performance, kaya sabi ng Nismo is that they will only be accrediting a few aftermarket manufacturers to produce parts for the GT-R, and one of it is HKS. Ayaw kasi nila mabalikan na madali masira ang GTR with other parts, or even it does not respond well to others, etc.
Even if AMS will be selling a turbokit for a GTR with more HP at $4,500 and HKS would be selling a kit of lesser power but at $5,500, i would still go for the HKS or Nismo ones, since the GTR is absolutely a very sensitive car.
Panoorin mo ang mga youtube videos on how the car is built, iba talaga. Tsaka mga interviews with the developers of the car. Ika nga sabi ng mga Japs, the car is perfect as it is, there is no need to improve on it further.

Thanks Pare its not done yet. Im getting few more parts and re-tune for pump gas and get some race gas tune as well. It should be 530ish on pump gas 640sih on Q16 @?? boost!
Its fine for me at least on DD I don't boost that often and saves me gas!

Just to add, the GT-R is way beyond the Evo and Sooby's league, it competes with Porsche Turbos, Ferraris, etc, in other words, it is in the supercar league. The best way really for them to be able to make good aftermarket parts is go all the way to Japan and study how the car is built, visit plants like HKS, Amuse, and Mines to see how they produce parts, and get Nissan/Nismo accreditation. And not only have a sample unit and make parts.
The reason why we see some F430 burn is because some US aftermarket makers made exhausts for the car, thinking that the more HP it makes, the better which was wrong because it actually burned the car later on.
