Yo am residing in the philippines and own a '93 lancer GLi( that would be the 1500cc variant) iknow it may be puny to your rides. was wondring if you could help me figure out if I can fit in a 4G63 engine into my ride? the VTECs have been lording it on the roads here in the philippines for too long. time to put them in their place ryt? thanks would appreciate any input.

Sorry to barge in on this thread. "Filipinos on evoM" caught my attention and I thought it'd be interesting how many EVO owners are out there like myself. I was there last October and most car rental places include a driver with the vehicle you're renting... I guess they're afraid of carnap or something like that...

Although maraming mabilis na V-tec, with proper mods with your 4G63 you can easily kick their ***. Just check the DSM forums. A lot of 1st and 2nd gen eclipse run with the big boys (V8's) They have the Bulletproof 4G63 if I am right.
