Is there any real point in putting forged pitons in an N/A? January edition of Hot 4's had an 98 Lancer 1.8L in which had steel conrods, stage 3 camshaftm ported and polished head, panel filter, 2.5 inch mandrel bent exhaust, high flow cat converter and forged pistons. I though forged pistons had no purpose unless the car had a turbo. So, would adding forged pistons do anything special or just give a longer piston life?
