Just in case anyone missed the news, a Lancer owner is wanted in Adelaide over the destruction of several Hyundai Excel's (around 15 damaged). From the picture of the Lancer on TV it was a CE Lancer with the generation 1 clear tail lights. Police do not know what the motive is (at a guess I have a rough idea). Anyway I just wanted you all to give your thoughts into the matter. I also pose the question, do you think Excel drivers are trying to compete with the Lancer? Why are many of the cars causing other 4's to get angry?

 

Other then the fact they all deserve to be stomped on , I think the drivers of dun up Exsmells are generally a very "SPEACIAL" breed. They seem to think a ****ty sounding exhaust, a big stereo can make those pieces of dog ****** coool.
(Don't get me wrong I have a load exhaust and $3.5 G of Sony Badges in my boot!) The difference is the Lancer actually looks half cool from the factory, and does't have the widespread stigma of being "**** on wheels".

dont get me wrong guys, i dislike excels and love lancers!! though some lancers out on the road sound and look crap, and i've notice lately quality isn't great! carpets dont hold, interior parts dont stay on.... the a/c lights busted well thats on my 00 lancer... look at the big pic, lancers are g'lookin economy cars.. not really performance except evos...

 

i have a hyundai accent and that is one tough lil car drive it like hell over 60,000 miles on it and it's still kicking....its a 99 two door stick.....so down hyundai they make as good of cars as anyone

I think Hyundai is a fairly decent company...the tibby is awesome.... I've never seen a done up anything except a Tibby and ONE Excel that had a cummins turbo in it.....needless to say I saw the excel get smoked by a civic with just exhaust/intake.....that's sad.

 

yes hyundai is a good company. they make small economy cars for people who do not care what their car looks like as long as it gets from a to b. it is not hyundai who are the *********.. its the hyundai owners who do the hell out of their car.

Making me laugh here guys. I do agree these cars are good for getting you from A to B, but I do not like when they feel that their car is better.

i drove on of those things and they suck everything about them, nothing on the car is good at all. its all plastic insides and out

 

I have no idea rexhunta.....I would be very interested if anyone knew of and developments into the situation. Possibly one of the forum members from Adelaide, could give us some insight.
