Benaraby Raceway
Benaraby Raceway
This is addressed to anyone in Queensland, especially Central Queensland:
The Benaraby Raceway has recently introduced FRIS (Fours, Rotaries and Import Sixes) as a feature class at its' racedays. While being the smallest of the 3-4 dragways in Queensland, and working on a limited budget, the club still puts on a great day of race action.
This new class has been attracting many Imports (mainly Silvias and Skylines includeing the odd GTR) from far afeild, with drivers travelling from as far as Brisbane and Mackay (which both have they're own tracks). So if u don't mind a drive Benaraby is situated 20km South of Gladstone which is about 550km North of Brisbane. Hopefully PAC Performance may be convinced to make an appearance this year, and we are trying to attract as many guys and girls as we can to put on the best day possible.
If u are interested, u can contact the club at the following, and join the mailling list to be kept up to date on events:
P.O. Box 7351, Gladstone QLD.
0419703710 49792311
The next meet is Sat, February 22nd: The Channel Ten Bracket Challenge.

I'll probably be working again
Unless it goes longer than 5pm this time
Cheers
Sounds like a good day. Unfortunately I do not think that I will be making the trip from Brisbane, but i wish you all the best. Are you going to run your car Sandman? Any more performance mods since your last outing?
Unfortunately, because I work on the computers, I have never actually entered a meet. I occasionally get to put down a run to test the lights and the track (hence below mentioned 16.731s).
One of these days, when I actually get my coil-overs back on, and get somethin decent done under-the-hood, I will actually enter.
As is I reckon that with some practice, I could get down to a low 16, with a decent launch.
AS IS with stuffed suspension, 205 Fulcrums, and a cat-back 2.25 exhaust, I allready beat a Exsmell wit chip, pod, extractors and exhaust, so I'm happy!
