Evo 7 Boost

Hey guys... I've never visted this side but you guys can probbaly help me the most. I was wondering, how many lbs of boost does the Lancer Evo 7 have, and how reliable would you say it is? If somone could tell me how many lbs of boost it has, that would be really great, cuz i need that info more...

I would say extremely reliable. Nothing less than comes from Japanese factories in this age.

As for boost I haven't a clue but would be interested to know.

did a search and came up with this

from what I read it's between 1.2-1.3 bars (relative) stock on the evo VII

if we're talking about the australian VII, I remember reading in that thread that they limited it stock to .8 or .9 bars??
not sure though

Basically the Evo factory sets boost to 0.7 bars, what its capable of running with an aftermarket management is about 1.2bars. If your stupid and wanna show how much "overboost" it is capable of then its 2bars Max on the stock turbo but not held, do that too much and your gonna cause major engine failures and damage internals without some serious mods.
