Pioneer does a nice looking range with thier BIO displays.. basically a monochrome LCD picture screen. Autobarn here had one of their MP3 players for like $350 a few weeks back. I know they are very reliable.. the one in my mates cruiser is original fitment.. in 85 model and still goes hard!

Also Sony make so nice lookers... Black panel (Completely black when turned off) with motorised face, and their full colour displays which u can upload photos to.
I have a full Sony system.. which I regret. The head deck was fine for 12mnths, but now it will not read certain CDS.. lucky I got a stacker. They do however make good amps.. I paid $380 for my 2x150wRMS amp, & $450 for the 4x75wRMS.

Alpine is supposedly very good, but if ur after looks for the head deck, they're probly not for u... they have a very chunky text display, which hasn't seemed to change in the last 5 years

These are the only brands I've really had contact with, but I think u find even the higher end brands won't pull through in the looks department. My pick would be a high end Pioneer... my mate is still useing his, which he has just transplanted to his 4th car.. the first of which took out the SQ comp. at AutoSalon a few years back.

As for a $200 sub & amp.. I wouldn't **** on it to put out a fire.. the arc would probly blow ur dick off! A reputable 10" Sub will generally cost around $150 by itself.. let alone with amp.. even a ****ty US Audio amp will cost more then $200 alone!

Well anyways.. there's my 2 cents worth! I don't pretend to be an expert, but "I'm smarter then ur average Bear*"

Have fun deciding!
