it is not too bad but here is a small tip while you wait to get it repaired get some autosol metal polish clean the rim and remove any residue then get some clear nail polish and paint over this will just protect the Alloy from rusting - and no I have not been drinking Alloy rims can and do get a form of rust on them that is why when you see polished rims they are painted with a clear coat they tend to get a white discolouration (check out aluminium boats)

Another thing id suggest you go is to clean up those brake disks with a wire brush (or drill attachment) and get some high temp black or grey paint, then paint those brake disks.

Looks sweet and no more ugly rust! Unless youre going for the rustic look

Ummm paint on the disk doesn't sound kosher dude.
Where the rim mounts sure
There are some places that will fix it too (one on the other side of the freeway to RPW), the way it was explained to me they weld a bit of the same metal to the damaged area and use a lathe or something to bring it back to the original shape and then paint/polish as necessary.

Someone on this forum had a DIY deal using putty and paint etc. but I don't see that hanging on to the edge of a rim very well. I've got it on a couple of my (stock) rims and really bad on one in particular but I'll probably just file/sand the areas smooth and then paint em black

Its all good man, i did that myself, just do a couple of hard stops and the paint strips off. Its only a thin coat. I've now had rust free discs for a year.
