I see like many others that the very nice green Lancer Sedan that was at fast fours and rotaries Jambooree (I posted up pictures here about a year ago) made it into the Fast Fours Magazine this month.

The paint looks as excellent as ever but I see the quoted power is 186 Kw . The things you can get away with!! Have to see what sort of figure I can dream up for mine when it is finished!! The 15.4 or whatever it was quarter mile time reflects the true power of this machine, I know all about wheel spin too, but that 15.4 tells the true story.

 

I saw a FWD CE lancer in a coupla months ago with a turbo kit, im pretty sure it had boosted or boostd on the plates, and it was red..

 

186kw?... @wheels?... 8psi?... no fridge?... "rejigged" factory management & Magna injectors?...

That guy is SERIOUSLY tiddlin' wit his diddle! It wouldn't make that at the FLY let alone the TREADS!
My mates 180sx has 185 HP at the wheels, & it pulls a 13.21!

By the way how do u "rejig" a Mitsu Computer?

 

The computer just has a chip.....nothing special. Yes I know this guy, and well I can honistly tell you I am not too impressed with it. Although he did not tell me the power figure was that high...he said it was about 170 at the fly, which I even found hard to believe, let alone 184kw at the wheels......HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

 

i call bull****.. i had to buy the mag, just to say it.. there are reasons.. eg.. the engine would have to be running about 210-230 kw.. which means the pistons would be outside the block.. or in bits.. stock internals making 184 kw my ****.. look at rob baracs engine.. he did so much to it.. just so it wouldnt fall apart..

making that bhp on 8 pounds.. i think he's kinda dreaming..

Yeah the guy is full of himself.....you just listen to him and go WHAT EVER hahahaha. No I dont think he head is screwed on right, how the hell is he going to stroke the engine to 2.6L, I dont think that is at all possible (in fact I have never seen anything over 2L for the 4G93)

 

i seen a JUN stroked 2.2 .. but that bout it..

yep, sounds to me he needs to swap hands while he is asleep

184kw!!!!!! What a load of crap.
I was punching out 152kw at the wheels before piston two decided to leave and I was beating wrxs so 15.4 sec is crap too.
