And I own a Mitsubishi Lancer GLXI cope. Only mods its got are 17inch mags and sideskirts (still saving for an EVO6 bodykit). But anyway I just wanna let u's EVO drivers out there although my car isn't a real EVO it has the EVO instinct in it! why do i say this? Because i dragged of all cars so far, 1/4 mile.

I dragged of a: Hyundai Excel, Toyota Corolla and my best wins; 1986 Nissan 300ZX turbo and Commodore VL & VR. (commodores are meant to be the muscle cars in Oz). These cars contained V6's and inline 6's. Where my lancer is only a stock standard 1.8 4cyl. Im real happy, i just had to boast it!

 

so its just a regular glxi and it caned the commodores.. hmm... it would beat the controllers and excels but were there something wrong with the holdens. were they on drugs ? perhaps the drivers were scared and confused and just wanted to be home. poor guys..

 

The VL commodore i dragged of was a standard Manual VL (VL's use the skyline engine), but the VR commodore (automatic) I dragged was souped up, its mods were; performance chip, cold air intake and full exhaust system. Even though they aren't major mods, my car had no mods at all, but the 17inch rims. (Imagine if i had my factory's on!)
And just 2 make sure i didnt win by error, we dragged 4 times, and they were spewing! (and no the drivers weren't on drugs)

i remember when i had my old sigma, i blew off an old torana with a mild cam and extractors and webber carby and mine was a standard 2.6 which i advanced the cam timing and i left this torry for dead and i had to wait for 10 mins for the stupid thing to catch up, he pulled up next to me and asked what i had in the car and he couldnt believe what i told him, he was like fark off mate, but as for my stocko mirage i have blowen off excels b4 no worries and i also waved bubye to a EA falcon (which had a bit of work done to it) @ 190Kms/H and kept on powering away from it
