Well the title speaks for itself. Are canards illegal in victoria? I heard that they are illegal IF the canards extend beyond the width of the car. Can any one confirm this idea/law? Are canards such as the APR Performance CF Canards and the Varis Hyper Dual Canards illegal? (attached are the pictures of these canards.....sorry if i've stolen/used someones pictures >.<)

lol, thats a good idea but most of the restrictions on modifications on cars arent that clear around here. Some cops give u a defect notice and some dont. So im not clear on how things are. But i will ask the local police. (i wonder why i didnt think of that earlier =.=)

guess if its not outlined here then you'll probably get away with one for a while until they have a formal standard / policy created.

if it comes as an option from the dealer it should be legal....

but you never really know.... cops can defect you for anything (legal or not) and its your job to prove its legal.

Did any one get an answer to this question? The police in Victoria are pretty clueless about this sort of thing. You can ask 3 different cops and you'll get 3 different answers
