Lightbulb Any suggestion for upgrade ?

Hi all,
I owned Lancer MR and already put a custom turbo kit with the stock engine. Rite now I can boost up to 0.8 Bar and still running safe which give me 148KW at the wheel. My 1/4 mile times was 14.0 sec but it was before i boost it up (0.5 Bar at that time) and planning to go out to test it again soon.
well enough about my car, can u guys give me a suggestion which one is the best option if I want to upgrade my engine; Change it to the VR4 engine
or
just playing around with the same engine with the new piston, conrod, etc.. ??

thanks....

well the vr4 will in the end give out more power but do u really want to waste all uve spent on the 93 so far? it all depends on money i suppose but the vr4 fully tuned will give alot more than your 1.8 fully tuned.

You could always help the engine get more air at less boost.

Have you considered polishing/power porting/extrude honing the intake manifold and throttle body?

Because I think they're right. If you do an engine transplant, everything you've spent so far has been wasted.

The VR4 will not fit your car buddy, this has been explained in detail over and over again. The CC and CE engines are different. SO if you are going for a engine conversion you will need a Evo 4/5/6/7 etc. To be honist it would be completely stupid if you did do a engine converson. Right now you will be running in the high 13's I would leave it at that. Dont get me wrong what you have done to your car is great, but when you start doing engine conversions and this that and the other the costs go up and up and in the end it will never be as good as say an Evo which will probably cost you less.
