Stay away from strathfield! i've heard too many stories about the poor quality of their installations. They rush their jobs all the time because of the amount of cars that come through their workshops everyday, hence = lifetime warranty on all installations

I dont see why people pay to install their own decks anyway? its so easy, my mates girlfriend paid JB hifi (place in melb) $500 to have some 6inch door speakers 6x9 speakers and a deck installed, i almost flipped when i heard it! i do that **** at home for like $100. when i told her she almost chocked me to death!!!
i installed my widdle 12' wofffer and speakers in my CC in under 1 hour.

Has anyone made sub boxes with fiberglass as the walls.
I'm gonna install my 10s so they mount tight against the wheelarches and back of the bootand am wondering if it gives the same sound quality (NOT SPL).

Fiberglass is a *****! all i can say is make sure its thick, and use a glue that cant melt it togeather. U can put nails in it, but it looks crap, and the fiberglass 9/10 tends to break.
Try Seleys All clear posibbily? Liquid Nails?
My friend did it once, doesnt look bad? When its done send some pics of it

This happened a couple of months ago, a "Professional" installer here in Bunbury, was drilling into the dash of a VT station wagon with the battery still connected, leaning with his neck across the steering wheel.. he drilled through the dash, hit the lead and set the air bag off into the side of his neck, which in case, had broken it.. absolute true story...

Pete..
