With the CC Lancer engines they are the same as the current Proton engines, so I am sure you will be able to use them also. As far as not wanting a 4G93 I am assuming you are taking two extremes here. As you may or may not know the 4G93 was made in SOHC, DOHC and DOHC turbo and all are in Australia. The 4G92 is a 1.6L engine which does not have a great output at all, but I am assuming you are talking about the 4G92 DOHC MIVEC with a peak output of 130kw. Something to keep in mind whilst you will get a bigger output than a 4G93 SOHC the torque is only slightly higher, and you need the revs to create the power. I have said it time and time again, I feel the 4G93 DOHC turbo engine is the pick of the bunch for the CC Lancers for the money. There are quite a few ex GSR engines out there, for quite a good price in good condition. For the power you get out of these engines, I dont feel anything can top it for price.

Yeah the 4G93 turbo would be nice but it requires engineers certificates in melbourne... i dont have thousands of dollars to spend.
Out of all the engines which came out in the CC coupe in australia which one do u think is the best? Can the 4G93P (proton GTi) be used in a CC coupe?

Mivec, so your saying the current Proton Series are the same as all the CC Series ? if so, that means we can get hooked up with low kay'd 'G93s cheap ?
