Hi Guys,

Has anyone local in oz made a big purchas from AWD motor sports

I'm finding the guy to be a bit misleading, i purchased an engine of him on here about 30 days ago, which he promised would take 1 week to get on a crate and I believed him.

2 weeks later I started hassling him for two weeks to get the engine to me because of his original quoted date of completion. His constantly making up lies trying to pin his delays on other forum members and me (customer).

Finally with all the nagging I got him to get of his hands but now his struggling to ship the engine to me. I guess he gave me very very low priority because I negotiated the hell out of the motor, someone please let me know something good about bigger purchases from this guy, his making my xmas period a living nightmare with the constant lies.

I'm sure I'll still come to AWD but only if i need a valve cover or something small now...

Mike's a good dude and there's no way he'll let his reputation be tarnished from one single transaction. I understand an engine is a HUGE deal to you, but to him, it's just another drop in the bucket. While that may not be an excuse, you have to understand he deals with hundreds of sales a day. With the holidays here and everyone buying parts to get their cars ready for spring I'm sure he's loaded down with orders. Plus, he doesn't build his engines. So he can only ship them as fast as Buschur can build them.

With that being said, he will do right by you. Just give him a bit. He'll probably end up giving you a future discount or something. Just enjoy your engine and rest well knowing it will make some power.

I know mate, without a doubt his a good man, hence why I dont want to go anywhere else... and his quality is known to be perfect, but my engine is still not here 30 days later...

looks like we're making progress now, i think today may be the lucky day where he ships the engine.

You're not going to get anywhere today as its 10:15PM here. Tomorrow is new years eve, so even if it was ready to ship, it couldn't. I would say Monday is probably going to be your day.

you've been waiting over a month for it to ship when you were told a week....contact your card company and get your funds back. that is just unacceptable.. Go with MAP next time, great service and processing time. good luck

Don't contact your CC company you're just going to make more problems as AWD is a very well known company on this website and highly active. I see you're in Australia which might be the cause of it taking longer, I don't know if they are open today but you can try giving him a call.

I think you guys would all realize there is more to this story.. Im not even going to go into details.. Mina I think your smart enough to know not to cause a huge problem here when yesterday i DEMANDED i refund you and you DEMANDED i release the order that you THREATENED to do a paypal dispute on and STILL RECEIVE the package leaving me empty handed and out 3k.. I think its best you chime in here and post that its ALL BEEN WORKED OUT and you will be RECEIVING your ENGINE and TURBO you added to the order which is what ACTUALLY DELAYED the ENTIRE SHIPMENT being the added turbo you bought from most wanted.. Ill wait for your response.. Last i checked we had this WORKED out and you were SATISFIED with the arrangement.. i can post the timeline of conversation starting on the 20th from me to you.. LMK

Just on face value alone, and only hearing one side of the story, if you're constantly being told it will ship on xyz date, and when that date comes you keep getting excuses why it can't ship until the later only after you contact them, you should pursue getting your money back. If there truly was a legitimate delay, you would be receiving a call/email appraising you of the situation.

Call your credit card company.
I begged him to all the credit card company.. I actually DEMANDED he take a refund yesterday because i refuse to let an INTERNATIONAL package go now when being threatened of a chargeback and knowing i will lose that package.. Those of you that have no idea of whats its like to run these type of business can say what you like.. there is a reason SMARTER companies like AMS ONLY take bank wire on these type of transactions.. I thought i was doing the right thing making ti easy for him by paying pay.. Not everyone has the cash on hand so using his credit card thru paypal would make things easier.. there is 2 sides to every story.. and maybe even 3.. Its being worked out last i spoke with MINA last night at 1am my time.. Once agin showing our customer service is great.. try and get service from 99% of other vendors at that hour of the night..
