Wanted - EVO3 block for rebuild

Need a 4G63 block undamaged for a rebuild. Blew up our GpA engine and can't afore Ralliart's $3k+ price tag for a new one.

A VR4 block would do the trick also but not prefered...

Thanks

Ralliart in Sydney is probably your best bet. I know they have engines from their rally programme and have a large access to parts, but if it is in you price range is another issue

4G63 block

Ralliart cost for a new block - $3800. Plus GST and a 4 week turn around.

Not likely...

That is quite expensive, try SSS Automotive on (02) 9896 6111 they are in Girraween, NSW. Good luck, and if that does not work out try some auto importers.

Oh yes. There's always SSS Automotive. Maybe not. I've been involved in Rallying since 1988. You learn over the years that the best value comes from outside the commercial circle. SSS recently tried to sell me a front cut for an Evo3 with side pods and rear wing for $10k. They sold it a couple of weeks later for about $6K to another guy. That guy saw a posting of from me about parts and tried to sell just the motor to me for $6K. I had to thank him politely but no thanks. And the 30,000K's on the odo was 130,000 a month previous as I was advised by another that had been offered the car. And to think you can have an Evo3 landed here at the doc's for rally reg for less than $10K. Usually in better nick than most cars at second hand car yards.

Thanks for the suggestion though...

I am sure that engine is a 4G93 (GSR Version) with a EVO III turbo on it. I do not think it is quite up to the standard of a 4G63.
